Brightspark’s software development unit has joined Uptime

Estonian software developers Uptime and Brightspark entered a deal that result in the acquisition of Brightspark software development unit by Uptime. The development team joins the Uptime team and will operate at Uptime’s Tallinn office on Pärnu Road.

The joining team’s main development platform is Microsoft’s .NET, and Uptime will become one of the largest .NET developers in Estonia. In addition to Microsoft platform, Uptime also provides development services on Java, Oracle, PHP, React.js and others.

Uptime CEO Eero Tohver said, “We have been successfully growing both in Estonia and abroad lately, so it was very important for us to expand our team,” emphasizing the importance of the transaction. “We are planning to grow actively in the future, too and are actively looking for potential partners in Estonia and abroad.”

Brightspark was founded in 2011. The owners of Brightspark have decided to continue focusing on the company’s own product development and product business. The company continues to operate as a team of 10 under the current name and brand.
