At the end of February, Estonian Police and Border Guard Board opened a new website at www.politsei.ee, developed by the Ministry of the Interior’s Information Technology and Development Center (SMIT) with participation of Uptime and Trinidad Wiseman.
The new website is fast, smart, with high reliability and secure, as described by Väino Kiuru, head of SMIT’s Internal Security Support, in technology portal Geenius news article. The new police web portal cost 90 000 euros, the renewal started in 2016. On average, www.police.ee is visited by about 65 000 people a month.
