Uptime’s digital solution enabled North Estonia Medical Centre to move on from paper based reporting on cancer cases

The North Estonia Medical Centre now submits information about cancer cases to the National Institute for Health Development using a digital solution created by Uptime, being the first health care provider in the country to do so.

Moving away from the old paper-based system is more convenient for the staff of the hospital, but also safer and better for the environment.

A surgeon at the General Surgery and Oncology Surgery Centre, Dr. Indrek Seire, noted in a press release that the hospital has been preparing for this change for a while now while adding that the new system helps to save doctors’ valuable time.
