The North Estonia Medical Centre now submits information about cancer cases to the National Institute for Health Development using a digital solution created by Uptime, being the first health care provider in the country to do so.
Moving away from the old paper-based system is more convenient for the staff of the hospital, but also safer and better for the environment.
A surgeon at the General Surgery and Oncology Surgery Centre, Dr. Indrek Seire, noted in a press release that the hospital has been preparing for this change for a while now while adding that the new system helps to save doctors’ valuable time.
