Uptime’s .NET Developer Nominated as Engineer of the Year

Uptime strives to exceed the expectations of its customers, and there’s no better show of it than out .NET Developer Aleksandra Bryś being nominated Engineer of the Year by Bondora, one of the companies partnering with us. To date, Aleksandra has worked with the client for little over a year.

“It’s a huge honour to be nominated. I’ve learned so much on this project, and the client’s team has been a pleasure to work with. I’m incredibly glad to see that they value me and our expertise, so I’m really looking forward to what the next phases of the project will bring along,” she said. “Full steam ahead!”

At Bondora, Aleksandra works on the loan and debt platform, where duties include implementing new functionality, managing integrations with new platforms, building connectors, fixing any ongoing issues, and building up new features from scratch alongside her team.

To receive the nomination, Bondora asked its employees and partners to nominate outstanding people in about a dozen different categories, including the likes of The Best Colleague, New Born, and the coveted Engineer of the Year. The winners in each category were selected by secret voting and the winners and all other nominees were announced at the New Year Gala, held in Tallinn, Estonia.

“So in addition to the nomination, I also got a week-long trip to Estonia out of the whole thing, so can’t really complain,” said Aleksandra. “It was awesome to meet the team face-to-face, and see the sights, snow, and culture.”

Head of Uptime’s Krakow office, Krzysztof Korbel, also couldn’t hold back the praise for Aleksandra. “The results speak for themselves – she has worked on the project for little over a year, and has already been nominated as the Engineer of the Year. It really shows that Uptime is the place for top talent, and that Aleksandra is a force to be reckoned with. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for the coming year,” he said.
